How-to list disk volumes added to Asm Diskgroup

I've added four ASM-recognized disks to an existing diskgroup and received the message that the addition was successful. But when I query the v$asm_disk or v$asm_diskgroup views, I only see a reference to the original diskgroup and no disk volumes are listed. 
Is there a way I can see the disk volumes contained in an ASM diskgroup to verify that my addition of the new disks is in effect?
