Archivelogs filled in ASM

Dear Seniors
Please help me in getting rid of this Problem
My database is Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production and in solaris 10 environment

I have lots of .arc files generated in ASM Location
Thoese files are getting dumped into folders  created by name of date
These folders are created since 2006.
These folders contain thread files as follows
1)ASMCMD [+DG1/NMH/ARCHIVELOG/2009_07_04] > ls
thread_1_seq_23686.8315.691288193
thread_1_seq_23687.8297.691308019
thread_1_seq_23688.8295.691313473

2)ASMCMD [+DG1/NMH/ARCHIVELOG] > ls
2006_04_19/
2006_04_20/
2006_04_21/
2006_04_22/
2006_06_05/
2006_06_06/

Can I delete these folders that are very old?

Also I have crossedchecked archivelogs

3)rman>crosscheck archivelog all;
