Incremental backup

 Hi all. I have oracle10g r2. My database mode is archivelog. To day my database was damaged. I bring instance mount and issue recover. Now instance status is open. I taken backup with rman incremantal backup. After recover i opened database "alter database open resetlogs" copmmand. Now incremantal backup is taken longer time(first time). I use tracking file. What this may be ?.Is it may be depend on resetlogs?.
