Customer Credit balance at the time of entering the Sales Order

The standard credit check functionality will check credit limit of the customer only at the time of Ordering, Picking, Packing and Shipping. At the stage ordering, the system will check for the credit limit only after booking and will put on a hold if the credit check is not satisfied. Is there any option in the system that can check for the credit at the time of order entry so that the salesperson can know the credit balance at the time of entering the order and can intimate the customer that they are short of credit limit.
