Good morning all,

I have a question regarding Management Agents and how they discover targets on a host.  I installed the agent on a remote host and it reported back a database instance that no longer exists on that host.  I checked over the server and couldn't find any reference to the DB instance both on the local file system and from within the registry.  I ran the DBCA to see if Oracle recognized that DB which it did not.  Does anyone know what the agent is looking at to determine what targets are on the host during the installation process?
