Inventory Tracking & Costing

Hi,

We are in process of implementing following modules

1.Project Contract

2.Project Manufacturing

3.Project Costing

4.Project Billing.

Costing method is Average Costing.

Requirement is.
1.Customer wants to track all inventory procurred for a specific project.
2.At any moment of time customer wants to check on-hand availability of stock for a specific project.
3.Cost should be transferred to projects only when it is issued to shop floor.
4.Average cost of material should transferred to projects for revenue recognition (Cost-to-Cost).

We are thining of following workarounds.
A
1.Purchase Orders should be made without project and task.
2.Create project specific locator (otherthan the existing one)
