Assets Additions report not hitting same cost center as create accounting

 Hi All,

The code combination created in create accounting program for a addition transaction is 01- 000-1570- 0000- 000  where the second segment 000 stands for Cost center segment.

But when  I run asset addition report / Cost detail report the asset is shown under the cost center which is assigned to Depreciation expense account and this behaviour is same in both 11i and R12 environments.

Is it a intended functionality or a Bug ?
