Deposit Application and Aging report

 HI
Do we need to enter receipts against opening balances deposits; as we already had uploaded the trail balance in GL? Secondly deposits are successfully applied against Invoice but aging report do not show the effect of deposit application. i.e.
If we have a deposit of $ 100,000/- and we applied the invoice of $ 65000/- aging report should show 35000 balance. but it shows the whole $100,000 amount.
Please suggest.
