Parent/Child Assets

 Hi,

We would like to have the parent and the child to have the same life for the corp books.

Eg: PAsset has a life of 5 yrs and was added on 30-may-2009, its child CAsset was added on 30-Jun-2009 then we would like to have the child asset to have the parent's current life which is 4 yrs 11 months for the month of june.( It should be the same as the cost adjustments which have the same functionality).

We have an option as 'SAME LIFE' which needs to be setup in the Asset Category, but the definition of 'SAME LIFE' is something like this
