Grid control alerts for ASM diskgroup utilization

We're using ASM for RAC and non-RAC environments.  We use Grid Control 10.2.0.4 to monitor CRS, DB, and ASM.   Even though we have metrics configured for warning/critical for diskgroup % used, it doesn't trigger an alert when either threshold is exceeded.  What am I missing?
