Equipment Scheduling in Oracle Projects

Hi,

I have a client that wants to be able to schedule fleet equipment resources and commit them to a Project.  In addition, the client wants to also be able to schedule down time for equipment resources to indicate when the items are down for maintenance repairs.  It is my understanding the Oracle Projects will not support the scheduling of equipment resources - as Project Resource Management is strictly aimed at People Resources.  It is also my understanding that this type of functionality is more in line with Enterprise Asset Management. Any information or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.
