Dear Mr BobB,Amaresh and other respectable Seniors

On 12th-july-2009

I messedup with datafile in testdb

I tried to move from +DG1 to location +DG1/datafile/folder

The files and folder when I list earlier was

but it created 2_98_592582602.dbf
2_99_592582602.dbf
2_9_592582602.dbf
ARCHIVELOG/
BACKUPSET/
CONTROLFILE/
DATAFILE/
ONLINELOG/
ASMCMD [+DG1/TEST] >

But AFter I moved the datafile there were some files and folders created as following

2_98_592582602.dbf
2_99_592582602.dbf
2_9_592582602.dbf
ARCHIVELOG/
BACKUPSET/
CONTROLFILE/
DATAFILE/
ONLINELOG/
PARAMETERFILE/
TEMPFILE/
spfileTEST.ora
ASMCMD [+DG1/TEST] >

So When I tried to open the database It said the datafile 6 cannot be identified ,so I tried moving again to the same old location and applied following command to restore datafile 6

Howdy, Stranger!
