Performance impact about turn on SQL response time baseline and metric baseline

Hi,

I have a oracle 10g R2 RAC db installed on AIX. I want to create baseline and enable metric baseline. Because that is a very important and busy production database. So, is anyone can tell me the performance impact?

P.S. I'm also plan to enable email notify function to alert low response time.
