NMCCOLLECTOR on Windows 2008

Hello

I installed Oracle 10g (10.2.0.4) onto my Windows 2008 64-bit server and now I am getting messages that the nmccollector.exe has stopped working.  Google searches indicate that this 'process' is used by OEM Grid contol agents.  But I am not running a RAC environment or OEM agents, just plain old OEM with dbconsoles.

How can I stop this server from running and failing?
