exp full misses one table, causing failure (incomplete dataset) of import (version 10.2.0.4 db RHEL

never seen such a thing but just one table is failing to be included in a FULL exp....
I can piece things together but that is wrong... ideas... again... been doing this sort of thing for years.. and this is a first...
BTW.. I am not changing users.... just a straight export ... import to same users/owners
I did check the import file (tried to import just the table and imp communicated table did not exist in the file).
I did check the export file and the table is listed with the correct number of rows exports...
I have done the exact same (parfile .. method.. etc.) recently (repeating the same old steps) and no such issues
