up2date to be replaced?
I attended OpenWorld last year, and at one of the sessions related to ULN the presentor mentioned that Oracle was going to stop using up2date in favor of something like YUM. I believe the reason was that up2date was proprietary to RedHat (I apologize if this is incorrect, I'm new to the world of Linux). I've also read that up2date has been replaced by YUM on EL5.
My Linux boxes are all running EL5 and I do use ULN. Does anybody have any information on this? Do I need to make any changes on my boxes, or reconfigure anything if this is true?
