Up2date: Cannot Register Cloned Server - Fatal Error: There was an error communicating with the regi

Symptoms You are attempting to register an Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL), Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Oracle VM system with the Unbreakable Linux Network (ULN) using the up2date(8) utility. Having entered your credentials and system information, you receive the following error:

Cause

The 'Fatal Error: Server communication error' can occur for a number of reasons, such as proxy, firewall or other network related issues.
