OTL: Changing the timecard period

We are changing our payroll period.  We have created new payrolls with the new payroll period, and created new timecard and approval periods all effective on the date of the cutover.  Preferences are also dated appropriately so that all new timecards have the same period as payroll.  Going forward everything is fine, but unfortunately this change is affecting all old timecards as well.  Is there anything I’m missing?
