Changing snacpf_SID.f files to another directory

edited Aug 3, 2009 1:14AM in Database Backup and Recovery (MOSC) 6 commentsAnswered
Hi:

I have got an Oracle Server running on a HP_UX machine, and have the snapcf_SID.f files in the directory ORACLE_HOME/product/10.2.0/dbs/. As the free space in this partition disk is reaching its end I would like to know if there is any configuration option for oracle to change the directory where to store  this kind of files, without having to introduce links directly in HP_UX. Thanks a lot,

A. P.
