Upgrading AR Standalone from 11i to R12 While interfacing Accounting Data to Oracle GL in a Separate

 We are upgrading AR to R12 from 11i in a separate instance from Oracle GL, how will this impact the way the SLA processes Accounting Data from AR Subledger to GL? Would SLA reside in the Standalone Oracle AR and then interface Accounting Data to the separate GL instance via our GL Interface table?
