Database size unavailable

 Installed 11g on new server. 

Upgraded to 11.1.0.7

ran DBCA to create repository & db console

db console refuses to show me ths size of the database, but the size of all the datafiles is available. 

Currently little or no activity in database. 

I am also getting a memory utilization warning at 10:05 PM.  Machine has 40 Gb of memory, and I am only using 5 Gb for 2 databases.

Anybody run into these or other bugs with dbconsole in 11.2.0.7..??
