Automation of archive log copies and apply not workig

 Hi,

I have done following so far. 

1) Primary and standby has been setup.
2) Listners has been setup.
3) Archive has been configured. Manually using alter system command we are able to copy and apply logs.

I need help in automate the copy and apply of logs.
