auto-analyze

 I am running oracle 10.2.0.3 and we have auto-analyze scheduled to kick off daily at 3am. Recently we have added more users and more functionality to the application that uses the database and have been observing some of the transactions timing out . For instance today I see that analyze ran from 3.07 until 3.10AM and the timeouts have been observed between 3.07 and 3.10AM. I am not aware  of anything else that is running so right now my assumption is that analyze is the reason for the timeouts. The server does not seem to be overloaded during that time
