Asset Depreciation

At book control level, we are set for depreciation 'divide by days'.  And, our Calendar supports a 4-4-5 reporting period; 12 periods in the fiscal year.

In the year 2009, there are 364 days in the fiscal year.  In the year 2010, there will be 371 days in the fiscal year.

Based on my understanding of the Depreciation calculation, Assets will come up with the same amount of annual depreciation for a SL Asset and distribute it throughout the periods.

My Business Partners want the same Depreciation calculated in Year 2009 to be calculated in Year 2010 so that period 1 2009 is same as period 1 2010 (of course where no change to the Asset).  So they are all the same for all periods except period 11 (where we have extra week), then they want calculation for 5 week period.
