Question on refreshing test data from production

 I want a straight forward way to export data from my production instance and import it into my test instance on another server without changing the test instance name. I did a search on import in the KB but was overwhelmed by the response. I'm running 10g on Windows. Would someone point me to a good KB article on how to do this? or a book? or a web site?
