Hardware choosing for linux...

Hi all,

we are going to purchase a new development server in order to develop our web application based on Database Oracle Standard Edition (>10.2). We are skilled enough in Linux OS and we'd like to continue with this platform. The question is: what is a good choice for the hardware? The DB size is about 4GB data, a lot of query (also quite complex), there are 5/6 programmers that work simultaneously... I've read on metalink about System requirements for Oracle 10.2 on RHEL 5, 1 GB RAM, 400 Mb on /tmp... but are these requirements good? What are your suggestions, your experience?

Thanks in advance for any answer
