Product Governance & Compliance - Environmental Friendly Usage

We are preparing to implement Agile's PG&C module.  One issue we have is how to rollup the Environmental Friendly Usage period values to an assembly level.  Agile doesn't have this capability so we're looking at doing a process extension.  I'm curious how other companies are dealing with this same issue.
