Smart Forms with non-catalog requests

Hi

Has anyone used smart forms with non-catalog requisitions?

I am interested in getting some basic templates set up with smart forms to guide users to particular suppliers to use. Eg when they select STA as a category code it will default a predefined supplier for stationary.

Can someone advise as to what needs to be done to make use of smart forms and where to start?
