Interface Trip Stop

Hi,
I have been working with Order management for the last 2 weeks.. I have a problem with Interface Trip Stop, some of the orders being processed would be done in just a matter of 10 mins or less down to invoice print out... In the last 2weeks I have some orders that Interface Trip Stop would be processed in a matter of 4 to 5 hours before an Invoice is being printed out.. you would then asked me if how many lines does the order have.. I would say less than 10 Lines... some may be Serialized item some are
