OTL: Timecard Entry for Meal Breaks

Hello,

We are in the midst of implementing OTL. We intend to use Payroll Timecard Layout. However, we want employees to enter Start/Stop time hours for their meal break also. What is the most effective way to implement that? Do we create another row on timecard for "Meal Break" hour type? or do we add two new fields for Meal Start/Stop time on Layout?
