Connecting OEL5 to SAN

I have been an HP-UX admin for a while and am now getting to play in the LINUX arena.  I have an OEL 5 server which I want to connect to the SAN.  I have the FC card installed, the cables are connected to the switches and the switches are zoned.  I need to see the disks presented to my server, but am not sure what needs to be done in LINUX.  In HP-UX, I would need to run a couple of configuration commands, but I am not sure what the compatible commands are in LINUX.  Any help or pointing me in a direction which I could
