Is it possible to only patch the JDK binaries in $ORACLE_HOME/jdk ?

Hello,
I have come across an Oracle 10.2.0.4 database where the JDK version
in $ORACLE_HOME/jdk is still 1.4.2.07-050121-21:06-IA64N.
(As far as I know 10.2.0.4 comes with version 1.4.2.17-071106-08:12-IA64N.)
Mabye something went wrong when upgrading from 10.2.0.2 to 10.2.0.4
because this seems to be the JDK version which comes with 10.2.0.2.

Anyway I couldn't activate the Oracle Enterprise Manager with this
old JDK. As a workaround I changed JAVA_HOME and now the OEM
is working, but I wonder if there is a way to only update the JDK binaries?
Of course I could deinstall the whole Oracle binaries and install them

Howdy, Stranger!
