BUDGETING FOR PURCHASE OF FIXED ASSET
User requirement is that to control purchase of assets through budgets.
First Options tried
a)Create budget amount for asset clearing account
Eg: 10000
b)Invoice entered in Accounts payable for purchase of Fixed asset and then transferred to GL.Eg:3000
Entry created
DR Asset clearing 3000
CR supplier account 3000
c)So Funds available now is 10000 less 3000=7000
d)Run create mass addition to transfer the lines to FA.
e)Create asset in FA and run create accounting to transfer entries to GL
Entry created
DR Asset cost 3000
CR Asset clearing 3000
So Funds available now is 10000 less ZERO=0
So it is back to original position???
