Restocking fees - How to add charges to RMA so they appear on the same invoice?

 I saw a post in the communities a while back about adding a restocking fee an RMA and having the fee appear on the same invoice/credit memo as the returned merchandise.  Has anyone done this?

I added a restock fee line to an RMA, however a credit memo and an invoice was created.  Our customers would like to see the restock fee that was associated with the credit memo, not on a separate invoice.
