I  have a Oracle database 9i (32 bit) running in Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4  (32-bit) Server.  By default the RAM of the Server is 4GB and by adding S/w switches the RAM is increased to 6 GB (expandable upto 8 GB).  With 6 GB RAM, the SGA was sized to 2 GB.
1) What is the max size that can be set for SGA?
2) What is the general relation between SGA and RAM (I guess the max is 1/3rhd RAM)
3) If the SGA is increased to 3 GB, will there be any database issue?

Appreciate your help.
