ASM Disks not identifed by 11gR2 "Grid Infrastructure for Single Instance " Installation

I am trying to install 11gR2 on ASM on RHEL 5 x86. As a prerequiste, I required to install "11gR2 Grid Infrastructure for Single Instance".

While following the installation documentation for the same, I installed ASMLib and created two ASM Disks named DISK1 and DISK2.

Now, when I run installer of "Grid Infrastructure for Single Instance", it does not recognize these Disks for creating DISK group.

I suspect there is a permission problem here. I have also created rule file /etc/udev/rules.d/99-oracle.rules.

What else I could be doing wrong here ?
