Cancel ASN API/ROI

Is there a way to cancel an ASN at the header via a public or private API ?

I realize you can cancel lines through the ROI but is there a way to cancel the header without having to insert all the line rows in the ROI tables.  The manage shipments form allows you to cancel the header so I'm assuming there is a way
