Overall apps performance

 After upgrading from 11.5.9 to 12.0.6 users are experiencing performance issues navigation through applications and loading forms.  There does not seem to be a pattern or any other consistent indicators.  It is time based (exact time unknown).  User start out with no performance issues at all, as the day progresses the navigation performance gets worse and worse.  If the users log completely out of Oracle and then log back in the performance is fine again for awhile.  This is not restricted to any certain group or users or any certain applications.
Any ideas where to look?    Thanks, Shannon
