Pre-precurement questions - Oracle 64-bit on Windows

 Like many windows shops we have attempted to leverage various strategies in improving the performance of 32-bit Oracle on windows 2003 ( AWE,  4GB Tuning) that will allow us large SGA allocations and thus better performance. We have found that we have become subjet to the law of diminishing returns, and are seriously conidering upgrading to the 64-bit version of Oracle on Windows. We are preparing a porposition, and have not been able to find answers to the following questions in the various white papers and documentation available. Therefore I am putting out a call to anyone who has been through
