We are on release 11i(11.5.10.2) and in a process of implementing the Direct Deposit payment method for our emplyee's expense report created in Oracle Payable. One of the issue that our business raising is the security issue of our emplyee's bank information Oracle database.

I came to know that Oracle does not provide encryption capability thru Payable, Supplier - Bank

Information screen in Release 11i. As per support and Note:726710.1 this capbility is extened

to encypt the bank_account_num field in ap_bank_accounts_all table in release 12i.

My question is that does anbody implement the Oracle Direct Deposit capability in R11i? If yes, How do you get around the bank information encryption?

Howdy, Stranger!
