Recovering using incremental backups

Hello

Does anyone executed a database recovery using incremental backups ???

I've never have had the oportunity to probe this and in our production environment there exists a particular situation: we don't backup the archives in rman backups cause we don't have enough tape resources to do this.

Does recover using incremental backups needs all archives from point 0  (level 0 backup)  to point N (Nth incremental backup) ???
