How to refresh test db on host 2 using rman cold backup tape of prod db on host 2 without relying on

Hi Experts,
I have a protocol to clone a production db to test using duplicate command and rman. But I need to refresh a test database on a different server from rman backup of prod db. Any one has a reference doc or protocol that I can follow?
