Application Server Change

Today we have the following situation:
* Running OTM 5.5 CU5-RU5 on WebSphere 6.0.2
* The WebSphere 6.0 support will end in september 2010 (next year!)
* What we can understand is that OTM 6.0 CU 2 may support WebSphere(not sure).
* We will not go for 6.0 in 2010 as we don't have any functional requirement
* We have two options, 1 migrate to OAS (Oracle Application Server) or 2 migrate to WebLogic.

My question is on Testing. What test cases and performance tests I should perform prior to go-live. Has any one done this before? Please share your experience with me.
