understanding certification matrix

I'm looking at setting up a new machine running Red Hat Enterprise 5 (x86-64), so checked the certification matrix for Database 10gR2 and found that it is certified on the following:
Red Hat Enterprise AS/ES 3
Red Hat Enterprise AS/ES 4/Oracle VM
Red Hat Enterprise 5/Oracle VM

Does the last of these mean that you can only run 10.2 within a VM under RH Enterprise 5, or that it runs in either RH Enterprise 5 or an Oracle VM ? To me, it seems to be saying the first, but it would seem strange if you couldn't just run 10gR2 in more recent Linux releases.
