Handling Drop shipment supersession

Hi All,

I have a dropship order which was placed as itemA but supplier has send me the itemB which is supersession of itemA. Please do let me know how to handle this scenario as one of the oracle analyst has responded that this is not supported. But this is too late for us to know this information. Please help due to if cancel the order then it has to be cancelled all the way to the end customer as its back to back. Thanks in advance.
