Use of decimal values within a configuration containing PTO items

We have experienced that the use of decimal values with PTO item is not possible when using the configurator for your BOM whitin Order management.

Do you have any surgestion on how to solve this issue in case you would like to be able to assign a decimal value of an item to a configuration. We thought of using a secondary UOM for an item and use the conversion to do the calculation, but you are only able to enter the primary UOM when entering items to a PTO option class when building a BOM.

Do you have any surgestion on how to handle this issue (decimal values) when you use the configurator within order management, some items are inventory items and need to be picked, others drop shipments and are linked to purchase orders and others are internal items/ressources (hours).
