Autocreate PO functionality
We have a CPA standing . The users create requsitions for non catalog items and the PO gets created automatically. In one such case when the items and all the other details were exactly same , the user had entered six lines on the requsition in Iprocurement as they need 6*65 meters of pipe length.
How system behaved - The system combined all the lines into one and sent the PO to supplier with 390 meters.
In Base oracle applications users have the option of choosing the grouping option for creating multiple lines , it is possible.
We checked the profile option also "Autocreate Grouping" was at site level and the value was requisitions.To our surprise every time we got to autocreate a requisition , the grouping option still shows DEFAULT as the value.
