Service Request Report - Closed SRs

Does anyone know how to run the Service Request Report to include all SRs closed in a specific time period?  The current report shows you SRs by status, which is exactly what I want, but the problem is that it only shows items that were opened and closed within the time frame.

Example - Run Report for last month.

1) SR opened last month and closed last month, it shows on the report.

2) SR opened two months ago and closed last month, it does not show on the report.

If you run the report without a time frame, there is no close date column, so you can't break out how many SRs were closed by month or by year, etc.
