 Hello,

In the documents section of MOS Community there is this entry.

 I am getting the following error.  What exactly does disk device refer to ?

Host= xxxxx
Metric= Disk Utilization (%)
Disk Device= sd9
Timestamp= Sep 25, 2009 11:52:16 AM EDT
Severity= Critical
Message= Disk Utilization for sd9 is 99.5%
Rule Name= Host Availability and Critical States
Rule Owner= SYSMAN


It is coincidental that my brand new server installation sent out a similar message today, when there were only one or two users on.  In my case the drive designation is c.  The only Oracle file on the c: drive is one copy of the control file.  The oracle instance is installed on another drive.
