Oracle Service Dependencies

 Hello everybody!!!
just i want to know that OracleService dependecies with Windows 2003 server O.S.
I face some problem that
Sometimes, when due to power failure my machine shutdown immediate and after when i start my machine the oracle service starts automatically but i could not login with  username and password in Oracle
what is the solution for this problem
And what kind of preventive solution i should do for oracle server as whenever this kind of power failure occurs
